Nozzle may be for Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) - part of the emissions system.

I was thinking that if the airflow for idle came from the nozzles they'd give a good swirl pattern for good combustion. Have you got other pic's/details - quite interested.

Got some big end, main and thrust bearings for this and a VF24 on a top mount Honda manifold, which I'll chop up. Made a flange for the 4ZC1 head, just needs cutting to shape and tidying up, then fiddling to make it fit and weld together.

Nah swapped your 4z for my silver gem (sort of)
Also forgot to say that's a 4ze1 rodeo manifold with a decent fuel rail instead of hose tails.

Ran out of paint supplies for the TE so I started building the engine for this beast today, going to get straight into it once the TE is done, can't wait.

$60 thats a steal! I was just pricing up XE parts out of curiousity more than anything and they are about $250 each and not in NZ. Rods for them are more

Well the guy I sold my other 4zc1 to has decided it was too hard to get parts for, so I'm buying it back off him for 300 with a 5 speed attached.
Hopefully should be able to grab it on the weekend. I've never had it apart but it looks well looked after compared to the one I'm using at the moment.

Got new engine. number 4 piston has broken ring lands.
Can buy a set of .040" oversize pistons for ~$240 or spend 1k+ on forgies.
*sigh*
