Check for a piece of ground casting in the dizzy area, there will be A1X (x being 0,2,4,5) stamped into it..

maybe wait until you have money until you choose to repower. You cant do much for 800. Pretty much just isuzu conversion like misterblack. otherwise you'll end up like me with a chevette with no engine and no spare money to buy a new one edit: maybe stick with the datsun motor? they can go pretty well. Way better than 1256. Would still be a fun car. Or sell me the datsun conversion package?

how much would u pay for the datsun?, i think its just a stock chevette box though, i might have found a ca18 and manual for 400 which would b sick

hmm il concider it i found an omega 2l 16v motor for 350 inc shipping but that leaves the issue of a box 2 fir it

Forgot to mention it, if you're going to be running 13" rims, I'm 95% sure you ned the standard Piazza vented discs, the Turbo needing 14" rims - the rears definitely do!

yeah picking up a ca18de and 5 speed done 160 thou for 500 bux next weekend with all loom etc exhaust and radiator with it

well this is the beast. ca18de, 5 speed manual, twin plate excedy clutch, acid bathed and worked head. i think its a commadore drive shaft, got it from local scrappy for the cost of a blown battery and a couple of old altanators i found behind my shed. spline fits so il use that and make a 1 peice. sorry about quality it was too dark 4 my phone camera lol.
