Normally, I'd expect them too be way too hard, but I don't know what spring rate you're intending to use. If they don't do the job, you can always on-sell them to someone who thinks hard dampers are a good idea.

will it make the ride nuts? i would have thought it would jst add stiffness even if the springs wernt that hard like cut stock commies maby

Like a rock, it wont really squat or work properly. Imagine just welding poles in instead've soft shocks - hard unforgiving and tendancy to 'snap' in relation to handling on you..

aright guys, so pretty bad day and i just realized its gunna take me farkin ages if i wanna do the ca18, dropped the motor bak in and had a proper look, turns out it needs sump mods and the intake might not even clear the brake reservoir with it sitting down far enough. grrrrr so now in kinda thinking a bit more of bolt in conversion preferably g200 twin cam if theres any around. but idk guys. i need a reliable ish daily as the cortinas being a fuking pain as usual. or may have to ditch the vette compleately for now and come back to t-cars l8a but thats not really what i want

just lose the brake booster & use a piazza master cyl [they have a remote reservoir]. just run a remote booster like i will be on the gem. sump mods are easy enough

yeh i suppose, it should be alright. sump mods might be easy for sum motors but the ca is really badly shaped for the vette haha the deepest point pretty much sits right ontop of the cross member/steering rack when its at the right position in the bay, good choice me.

I'd be inclined to have a look on Ozgemini.com theres plenty of ca18de conversions etc..
