good stuff... I got part way thru modding a gemini gauge which was to take the place of the fuel/temp which would have to find a home elsewhere... sitting in a box somewhere, better to spend the day and now have a working unit!!!

Yip i got new head unit speakers ect to install but that can wait another day need to sort out door locks and fix a small leak or 2 then can get carpets

haha classic... I have exactly the same rev counter in my car! in the same place too.. I mounted mine behind the plastic though... In saying that, I think I need to run an amplifier for the rev signal as it doesn't actually work! You should be ok with the chevette ignition though

i just solderd the wire to the - on coil terminal seems to work good but i fried the light circut whilst trying to get it to go OOPS ohwell

That should be right, the negative is to the distributor and power to the +ve.

pulled all the interior apart again in the weekend to paint all inside and dye all the interior pannels black got the recaro fishnets in (bolted onto slightly adjusted std rails)

There are three different spines used for the Chevette - some will swap one way but not the other, so make sure you know what year the column is.

Check the 'spare' on the spine first, just in case it's not compatable.

ok will do. started prepping the guards i pulled of sedan before it got scrapped today going to use them because mine have dents and ripples all over them forgot how dam long it takes to sand,bog sand paint over and over and the rear quaters will need alot of work
