i say raced- but the bastard had a turbo so i didnt stand a chance haha

NEVREV has a turbo injected G200 (I'm pretty sure G200...)
He picked off parts off me the other week after you were at my place jesse... have pics of his engine bay somewhere...
Told him to look up our little forum...

put the pics up. rangi job or pro stuff? whats story with troy making x members? got some measurements eh. use the 2nd set of bolt holes on the g-box tho. straight piece across with a anti-vib bush bolted through to g-box. have to weld two plates in either side where it bolts to chassis(cut/use seat bracket).

how about you wait until he has a chevette on his hoist with a g series bolted in the bay and trust in his professional opinion of how it should be.
He reckons bolting to seat brackets will be fail at Cert time and trust me when the vette leaves my property EVERYONE WILL KNOW!!! ;D ;D ;D
I will ask him to make the x-member 1st priority k!

actually mine was certed with the gearbox xmember bolted
through the seat brackets

He reckons bolting to seat brackets will be fail at Cert time and trust me when the vette leaves my property EVERYONE WILL KNOW!!! ;D ;D ;D I will ask him to make the x-member 1st priority k! nah not thru seat brackets. drill new holes parellel to gbox mounting point. just cut bracket to use as strengthening points at the chassis bolt holes. 2 x 3" wide. its a shorter distance across so will be alot stronger. |
