I'm pretty certain I've got some spare headlamps somewhere which you can have , they're not the best but at least you can have a play around with them and see whether or not they're either going to work OR use them as a pattern and find something similar .. Grilles do come up for sale from time to time . Mostly on German ebay but like I've mentioned before, if they get funny about posting to you , I could buy it and get it delivered to me then I can forward it on.. I think Alex is yoeddynz isn't he? Dunno when he's about to go back do you ? Only that would give me a timescale to possibly dig some bits out . Haven't got the series 2 bonnet any more , it got stolen out of my yard when the scrap prices were high I do know a guy who had a spare bonnet which he was giving away . I'll see if he still has it then you could possibly get yoeddyonzyoalexyo to collect from him.. You can pick up indicators from Germany quite often too. I reckon if you got Kadett guards they'll bolt on in exactly the same places on the a-post and top guard rail , only thing i'm not 100% on is where they meet the front panel at the bottom . I'll take a pic of my front panel then you can compare it to yours , gotta be pretty similar I'd guess.

that is pretty.
What colour you reckopn i should paint my rostyles?
white, silver or silver and black(like standard).
also do you recomend powder coating, get em painted by a car painter or sprycan them myself. Yours are powdercoated aye brad? howd that work out?
edit: matt black spraycan could look good also

my vote goes to matt metallic grey spray can job
my wide steels are painted by the guys that blasted them and they are nuts
my opels brobet wheels are powder coated and I absolutely recommend it, but they are alloy and perhaps it bonds better with alloy than steel/etch?
my SSR's have painted centres by me from a spray can, just that nuts you get in little cans from supercheap and it is sweet. its very hard and doesn't seem like it will chip like my steels do.
I've also sprayed wheels with compressor setups too but I don't think its worth it by the time you get all the nuts together and the paint wastage.
Powder coating is about $100 for 4 down here but it costs close to that to get them blasted and prepped first

Powdercoating Everyone tells stories of how they peel off, and look dull, can confirm steelies are still sweet after a year in the elements, and one wheel that was curbed due to a suicidal pedestrian, even with it chewed through the surface, hasnt peeled any further..

hmmm. might just spraycan. prob costs heaps to get them painted by a pro. i think a panel beater quoted me 200 bucks to get them done in white. plus was like a hundred bucks for acid dip.
What sort of prices did you guys pay?
