Good score on the engine! Any joy on selling the Yellow Peril yet?
Guy's doing it the hard way with the Beddie - back in the day, I'd drive in after draining radiator outside, lift the body and wheel out the engine and gearbox on the front suspension/crossmember, strip the engine completely, wheel the suspension back under the body and lower it down - in under 2 hours. Mind you, after doing it a couple of dozen times it was pretty automatic and the tools were trained to jump into my hand as I needed them - and the assembly took quite a bit longer ...

saw u missed out on that gerry johnson head, could prob get ones made for less then what it went for, but then again that one had never been on a engine.

SOme pics from today. Things I've done in the last few weeks. Created one good indicator stalk out of the three i had. De-loomed everything ready to be rewired completely. Fabricated an alloy centre console for switches lights and master switch. removed sump plate replaced amp meter with volt meter relocated hydraulic clutch tank cleaned / pa10 battery tray and fabricate alloy plate for fuse box installation re route lights via relays instead of standard switches refabricated a headlight surround as it was rusted out and had not adjustment I'm sure there's plenty more I just can't remember them all

Thanks it's amazing how long that nuts takes! My mate Tony is making me do all the work so I learn as I go. I'm sure he's still laughing in his coffee as I realize the time involved. I am pretty hapy with the end result. I've made a new dash for where the centre dash speaker used to be too which has all the vital signs gauges and warning lights. I'm looking forward to the next step which is to completely strip the car to start cleaning up the body. Whoever put the glass guards on didn't tub it or cut away original metal guards so I'll have to do that also. Will be painting everything castrol silver or starfire silver as it's know.
