changed my plans for the car, going to bolt on my big valve head, hot cam onto my engine at the moment and just run the twin stromberg carbs and run that for awhile then sell the parts later on and save up some money for a new conversion (no way im going to get a loan) and replace the engine with a f20c or 3sge or something simula, was planning on hotting up the 2.3 but then when i thought about it and planed it out i was going to spend 5grand+ on parts for the engine alone and would be around 190hp with a fully worked engine and if i wanted more i couldnt really get any more power, and with all these japanese engines with 200hp+ standard and ALOT easier to get parts and cheaper i thought it was the best idea i know it wont be oldschool and have the wicked sound of a worked 2.3 but if i want more power from the new engine engine i will have a big list of things i could do to it

Opel C20XE or even better, X20XEV? Nah but you're right, F20C will be your best bet for straight out of the box power and the BEAMS 3SGE is great for tunability. Don't ask me why but they seem to make good power once tuned, where as the Honda engines don't seem to go past 250hp.

yeah herd that on the f20c they made everything prety much top notch and if i go changing stuff u can actually de-perform it but ofcorse u can still slap on a turbo or stroke it out to 2.4L or get some toda v-tec killer cams, ect to increase power =) a cool video if anyone wants to watch a awesome s2000 www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUFFudEJnjk&feature=channel_page

interesting bit of info that i didnt know untill i was perving under the bonnet ov a tezza. 3sge is a yamaha motor.. Kind of, but not quite. Since the 70's Toyota has comissioned Yamaha to design all their high performance twincam heads. Sometimes they missed the mark, sometimes they didn't.

there is 48s on there....it's listed below hence the price ranging about 100 euro. still i rekon you could land two of them for half price then get linkages off murray. I have a guy in uk that has proper 48 manifold for single cam for 100 pound.
