Mean Gem now has a wideband. I'm going to remove the engine fan it never gets to running temp unless I cain it or let it idle for 20min plus. I was having trouble getting a stable afr when idling, it sits on 72 consant even caining around need to give it heaps to bring it up the afr at idle smooths out at about 78 degrees. I have a slim line fan to chuck in but thats more work lol need a relay etc meh. Christmass is comming fast what everyones plans I'm going to the beach on christmass day for 5 days is going to be mean so need a holiday been a busy year.

Gems going awesome now with the wideband. All the logging and tuning software that you can get for the megasquirt is awesome. Main thing I'm happy about is fuel consumption its halved. Took it for a good cain today loaded up with boyz one of them been DOHC turbo Jase from up here (who needs to do an update of his progress ) was stoaked with the loaded up performance. Its running 10psi and goes sweet as going to tune it more still bit rich around the cruise area and still the idle but thats it. Once thats done I wanna fit an external wastegate and run 16 or 18psi if the injectors can match up and run duel fuel tables 10psi for average driving/economy and 18psi for more aggressive driving. New years tomorrie got sweet plans mates over from oz etc should be good hope you all enjoy

Yeah still works to have it there the lip needs a little trimming etc the cover needs to be notched for a dizzy cap but not if you run an e1 cas like I am. I'm actually cosidering ditching the stock fan and setting up something better one day.
