Cheers dude. Just got some tyre hook ups too. Small story.
A few months ago, me and a mate were going around getting prices for tyres as he was after some Goodyear Eagle F1s (if you know these, they are they best street tyre Goodyear make). Anyway, the best we could find was $225 a tyre so we left it at that. He gapped it home and I went to the radiator shop to get my intercooler pressure tested (which turned out to be leaking hard - subsequently fixed). While I was waiting for that test, I went around the corner to the tyre shop and asked about the Eagle F1s, the dude said to me "If you buy them today I'll do you a deal because I need to meet my bonus," I was like "how much?" He said $195 a tyre so I thought my mate couldn't pass this up, I gave him a call and he came down a bought them for this far cheaper price. So anyway, I had to gap to get to work, but the dude at the store told me to give him a call when I needed tyres and he'd hook me up.
So here we are, last week I ordered some Dunlop Direzza's and he gave me a discount from $225 - $168 a tyre, primo I thought. But then he calls me and said that the Direzza's were on back order and that he was going to give me Goodyear GSD3s for the same price - apparantly these are better. So yeah, awesome, lets hope I don't got through them too fast!!

Spose I better do a short update of what's been happening as of late:
Not much. Got my intercooler all patched up and sleeved out to 2". I snapped a temp sensor in my inlet manifold so had to get that drilled out which is annoying as I now have to find another one. Should be picking up my Hilux diff from BR very soon, then just gotta mount that and sort the handbrake cable. Once that's in, I can chuck on the tyres (I think I might rebush the front end first, or maybe not) and take the car for the 1/2 cage. Once that's done its paint and put it all back together, barr a lot of small things that need to be done.

New diff all ready to go (barr a bit of paint) thanks to Jason!! Complete with 3pc drive shaft, ladder bar setup, EB Falcon discs and a modded torque-tube x-member. Can't wait to get it painted in and with the rims on there

Haha, I hope so. Paint the diff and install. Chuck the rims on. Get 1/2 cage done Re bush the front end / sand blast etc. (might do this before the cage, but I'd like to have the cage done before xmas). Paint! Probably after new years.
Then jsut a few other things - get a seat, springs and shocks, chuck engine in etc. Much more than that, but the big stuff is getting done, so that's good.

Got me some smaller bleed valves. The guy at the shop was like "you knowyou can just cut the top off them" me> "yeah I dont want to have to replace them each time I bleed" him> "nah, you just put your thumb over the hole and do it that way"
WTF, you'd never know how much air was coming out!

Diff and Ladder bar setup Rims and off paint repair. Not low enough yet but you get the idea. Big-ass disc, bigger than the front!!!

Haha those disks are massive. Fuk those rims look sooo good on the rear though. They really suit the colour too. Perhaps you should stick with that shade of yellow after all.
