pretty friendly deal i thought, they are rebanded as opposed to widened so could be widened further, have had them on the blue chevette brad>>tims were perfect offset without any major guard work. would need to be resprayed gunmetal or red to suit the yellow i'm thinking with maybe a narrow white wall added to the tyre

fvckn aye thats a deal i cant refuse, will be in touch once i scrounge up the $$
as for the wag and its plethora of small issues- oil sender seems to have sorted the light, now that i can run it for any length of time ive discovered the cooling system has some issues- the main one being it doesnt seem to work at all. engines hot but the radiators cold, which isnt surprising the last engine overheated and seized. im thinking radiator may be blocked, ill attempt to flush it out and check the thermostat while im at it. next step after that is the pump i guess

if you have a compressor, get a rubber bung to fit the bottom outlet of the rad, plumb a ball valve and line from the comp to the rad and then the garden hose to the bung also, run the hose full tit and give it bursts of air as well, it will drop its guts quite well you'll find.

ill chuck them on tomorrow, wasnt sure about the height for a wof with them on so i stuck to the rostys.
speaking of WOF i didnt fail as bad as id thought- 2 rustholes in the corners of the firewall (as usual). rear brakes are uneven. the brakeline that runs over the diff is corroded. and my seatbelt jams up sometimes.
will take half a day off work to sort it and hopefully get it legal this week. will also put the new wheels on and get pics. as well as test its grasscutting abilities for youtube.
oh does anyone know if the above mentiond brake line will need to be a custom made line or are they buyable premade? or better yet does anyone have one they dont want? =D
