Have a look at these, found them on a French Kadett thread. I can't actaully tell what's going on here...

its basicly the same as a stock double wishbone by the looks of things, but instead of the spring being held captive by the lower wishbone and the chassis, its from the upper-wish bone and strut tower. That and its got a badass tube wishbone setup, plus solid sway bar link. Not much of a suspension guru by far, but i dont really see what addvantge you'd gain from changing the position of the spring? Some one will know? Looks like the strut is threaded so it might be high adjustable?

Yeah, they are adjustable coil overs so you can change the height just by winding those lower washer things up or down. Its a pretty nice setup, obviously a track car. It would be interesting to see the strut tops because the should be modified also. The standard ones cannot support the weight of the car as far as I'm aware. They only have a very light load on them from the bound of the shock.

Yeah they are kinda modified. Got lots of piping weld around them, strut brace and some more bracing which goes down to the front part of the chassis.

Looks kinda cool, only bad thing is youd have to (and they obveously have) re-enforece the crap out of the shock towers coz pretty much all the load is gunna be transferred there now, where as standard most is kept in the crossy... like it though!
