I'm pretty sure I can get Dobi springs in good rates for $150 a pair. That was what they cost last time I bought them through Autolign, however prices may have gone up?

Possibly. Can't remember who I sold them to. Did it not go low enough? Maybe they need to be in a Gemini

the pedders in my green wag went low enough for me... unloaded the back does raise slitely though but I normally carry all my Ubering gear so doesn't matter much...

not a massive amount eh. on a hatch though so obviously a bit of weight difference. plus gem engine slightly heavier etc. had them on my sedan and were slightly better though. really need custom springs for a chevette but obviuosly cost a bit more than off the shelf items

Gemini's are actually quite a bit heavier than Chevettes, although in the rear a lot of it is probably unsprung, larger diff etc. I wouldn't expect huge results from any Super Low springs, but they should still make the car look lowered. I was intending to cut a little off those springs to get them where I wanted in my Chevette, but it is stripped out in the rear, so probably even lighter than original. Reason I sold them is because I couldn't even get them in the back due to length - my exhaust goes under the diff so I have limited travel in the rear. Sorry they didn't achieve what you were after.

nah its all good bro. just thought the kings might give a better result as im pretty sure the ones i got off you werent super lows. just checking through the dobinsons fitment guide. part number is listed as standard lowering only whereas the kings there is a standard and super low part number. as for pedders wouldnt have a clue. are they specifically for a gemini tim?

Oh thats a bit crap, I'm sure I remember there being something like SL in the code, although that could have been with the Torana springs that I'm using in the front. Even then I actually cut a little off them, but to be honest my car is a little bit stupid in height, which is why I just assume others will usually be happy with off the shelf springs, which never float my boat at all.
