anyone got a decent 1256 clutch plate spare? new ones are between 2-300 bucks so i found out. lol cost more than the car!

Is it the friction plate or the pressure plate?
Some on EBAY and they sometimes turn up on TradeMe.

not gonna waste any money on a 1256 eh. even 150 is way more than im willing to pay. just thought someone may have a spare lying around. yeah friction plate or whatever u wanna call it. gears slipping on high revs.

if the 1256 and box are the same as the viva 1256
i have 2 clutchs sitting here you can have them both for $40 + postage

Clutches are the same, flywheel and gearbox are different.
[edit] 1256 flywheels are the same, the 1059 and 1156 are heavier, IIRC.

found some new from auto clutch morningside for 80 bucks. clutch kit for 160-ish. seen them for under 20 quid on uk ebay though. probably be the same roughly if you freighted them in youreslf just miss out on the gst
