Ok so i believe the diaphragm on my chevette 1256 is stuffed and rather than fixing, i am looking at an upgrade. Theres probably information about carby upgrades somewhere on this forum already but i couldnt find it  Dont want to be splashing out hundreds of deneiros but looking at an easy/better/affordable upgrade. i remember reading somewhere that theres a suitable weber upgrade (maybe 32/36 but not 100% sure) and ill need to get a mounting flange made up? Can anyone guide me in the right direction? Cheers  |

i have a inlet mani for a 1256 given to me by gordo with purchase of a parts car a while back... think it may be for a nikki carb as found on a gem but could be adapted...

Just make sure the little locating nubs are lined up properly! |

yeh there are replacement diaphrams on trademe for 8 bucks. its like a 4 minute job as well

yea sorry man been busy lately. wouldnt it work out cheaper for you if you close the auction and sell outside of trademe? trademes listing fees are pretty harsh mate. ohh haha sweet. yea id be keen on grabbing that aswell ;D completely forgot about that sorry! haha

Tai, have raised auction price to $50 to deter any bids so you don't miss out... if someone bids at $50 tho itll be tuff titty lol giz holler and come over and will do the buy now thingie...
