thought that would get your attention. i see there is demand and i have been working very hard down south and havent had a chance to get started on my fibreglassing ways, so too up date you. as of tomorrow i have sourced 78 gaurds, bonnet valance etc, and fuel cap, i am also very close to finishing my custom fibreglass parcel tray. to re state
gaurds bonett fuel cap door thing custom parcel tray fits 6x9s and isnt a flat sheet, has curves etc
dont ask for the gaurds themselves, i worked Barry Whiteing hard to be able to borrow them to take a mold. give me a couple of weeks ( if overtime doesnt start back up) and i will have them ready to go.
dont go elsewhere or look in oz, i wont charge a heck of a lot more than materials for anything i do for you guys on here thats a promise also going is speaker pods, bolt on flares, and yes i am aiming in haveing to 78 gaurd options, standard and flared, not bolt on, a flared fibreglass one (did that make sense?
if you have any questions or want something done then this is the place to ask me, or pm i am here to help.
will upload a pic of parcel tray tomorow, they may fit in ohter cars??? not sure

I like this guy. Will need at least one pair, as I have a decent passenger one for my hatchie will hold out for a steel drivers side guard for that, unless a pair of glass ones works out less/same... Keep us posted, your a champ! Also I had someone asking for some on my trade me parts auction... will mention it to that person to maybe join the forum.
Also have you seen the lip spoilers the dude on ozgemini makes? Look very tasty!

i have a set of flaers, will line them up on the gem and see if they will work , it should be around the same for the cheves yes?? update, go oout and picking up the parts tomorrow. low and behold he has a set of flared fronts. ahahahahaha, less work for me, but will mold the flare to match for the rear guards too. also will have both standard and flared, if there is work to do on the parts then timeframe may change. but will keep you informed.
crazytim i will do some hunting around ans see how i get on with a lower lip for you, could make something unique for you seen as you are a twisted mofo. lol
wont be able to give you a price untill the first sets rol off the line. also parts may be branded with my brand name but if so it will be in a descrete enough place, might as well advertise while i am at it lol
gettin a little interest from oz too.
will post some pics of peaker tray and hopefully flares over the weekend.
cheers fellas

cul8r. do you mean the entire front end?? i dont want to price untill i have atleast made a cast. that way i can give you the best deal possible. i dont want to make money off you guys i just want my name out there for you to spread around, then i will start to make money. advertising at its finest
update on parts.. walked into a barn and saw a whole tx sitting there as a parts car. lol who would have thought. it has flared gaurds that will need a good amount of prep work. the rear gaurds are flared as well but trying to come up with a solution to mold and fit the rears to a car. any ideas anyone?? i would rather not to Barry White around pumping the door out or Barry Whiteing about with a two piece mold, i am sure you guys dont want the hassle either.
been looking into the law side and coz of the age no problem with fibreglass front end. yay can any one tell me out of interest sake what the parts i am molding are worth to get factory?? i have no idea and wnat to know the difference in prices

ok update for you. i have a set of flares "universal." not ideal but i am going to make cut them up and make them perfect fit for my gem, 1978. can someone of knowledge tell me if all gem wheel arches are the same?? and chevvettes?? i am trying to work as fast as possible but new family member an tuesday night telly is slowing me down. they will sure as nuts be a perfect fit for my gem so any 78 gaurd too. i will then make a mold to have a "flared" fibreglass front pair too and the back will match but be a bolt on part but as i said time is my issue and that is pretty tied up at the moment

I'd be keen on hearing more about your speaker pods too ? - for the parcel tray or front doors/kick panel area?
For a chevette sedan , but I cant see any real problems arising there..

if a gem and chev parcel tray areas are the same then i got a cool all in one parcel tray that you dont have to cut your tray up. i do have pods, 6 inch and 6 x 9 but may not be high enough meaning you may have to cut parcel tray?? are they the same. gem and chevve??

Nah I dont want to cut the parcel tray at all. I've not had a really close look at a gemini tray, but the chevettes are pretty bare and almost like a big pie dish that drops down behind the rear seats..
