Just putting the feelers out to see if anyone might be interested in a very tidy little 1256, which is owned by a guy in Tauranga with a Viva and Firenza, who might be doing some work on my cars.
Its running a single side draft webber, about 40mm.
Very nice custom extractors, tuned length and hpc coated, into a flange ready for a 2 inch system.
Has lumpy cam and raised compression, though I can find more specific information on these if required.
Engine is mated to a 5 speed Toyota K50 gearbox, which should handle the jandle and the conversion has been made with a modified and tig'd bellhousing - very tidy.
Comes with all parts to bolt it into a Vauxhall VIVA, NOT A CHEVETTE, but I imagine it won't be too far away from going straight into a Chevette.
He has no idea what its worth, nor do I. Although the guy does know what he's spent in building it, which is quite a lot.
If anyone is even remotely interested please drop me a pm or reply in here and I can talk to the guy and find out some more info. Be prepared to pay into the thousands for it though, its no ordinary 1256. ;D
