Hey guys..

So Im thinking about getting rid of my wagon and wondered if anyone (with coin) would be interested. Still well and truly a project, but the hard work is done. May look at selling rolling body. Hard to say what it is worth, but Im happy to have a chat to anyone who may be interested.

A quick run down on mods....to much to list but I'll do my best.

Body..
All suspension removed and painted 2k silver, new bushes and balljoints throughout, new pedders springs, 280mm brake kit (no rears yet), Hilux 4.11 LSD, shortened and painted, with 3 link MacDonald bros setup, all seam welded and all rust removed, engine bay smoothed and detailed. Half way through droptank which will be finished before possible sale......Exterior very straight in 2k orange. Sitting on ROH Z's at the mo.
Engine..
Mazsport 13b Bridgeport, fully polished, brand new everything- housings, seals, bearings, alternator and more, fully rebult S4 turbo Gearbox, HD clutch, IDA, alloy radiator.

Hard to say what this would be worth, only worth what someone will pay for it I guess. Just wanted to put it out there and see what happens. Please dont waste my time asking stupid questions. Sad to see man, but I understand how these things are. I'm in a similar situation with my Wagon.

Just a suggestion, perhaps put it up on oldschool.co.nz once you have a couple of photos ready to go. Not a lot of fellas on there have cash ready to roll, but generally if a quality car shows up people seem to be able to make things happen. I'd be stoked to see this go to a good home if it has to go at all, I've always been anticipating its completion.

Left would be brake and clutch hydraulics, fit interior, finish droptank, finish exhaust, and all the little things.....


Wanted to see if there was any interest here first, I think I'll end up splitting it up though, sell rolling body minus motor and gearbox etc....probably the only way I'll get close to what I need. Had thought about putting a gem motor back in it and selling like that but probably not worth the hassle, and pain.....

Dude, noooo! It's been such a long time coming. I remember seeing your wagon at some event year ago and thinking it was mad inspiration! We can't have this happen, so many years and you won't even get to drive it.

TBH, there is nuts all to do! Do it!!! You'll be much happier you did.

Yea, Know what you mean dude. Just finding it hard to justify spending the extra few thousand on it when Ive already spent so much ya know.....I know I'll probably regret it but getting older and wiser and am only know about to pay the huge loan off that I got for it originally...Its def a hard call!

Loans do suck... getting them down a decent ammount when the interest keeps piling on... hope you can find a way to keep it cuz.

So the rust is all gone now then? Last time I saw it the boot area was in pieces! But by the welding I saw in other areas it must be mint now!

Hey bud... Yea have welded in another mint floor, just cut a massive hole in it for the drop tank tho!! haha. Once all the welding is done around the droppy then its all gone, rust free.....
Sure you dont want to add another to the fleet?

Also to those who havn't seen this thing the engine bay is amazing... every join welded up and ground out, smooth as... something thats smooth (was gana write something durty but thought I had better not)
