Yeah I know what you mean about the peddel bracket, I just made up flat metal plates the same shape and welded it to the old peddel then bolted these on. I see what you say about the firewall as your masters go the other way, see bow it goes I guess. Yeah I started out with that size and it was ok, was very little peddel travel so dropped to 5/8th and it has better feel. All looks good though mate

I guess the first thing to do is drop the motor in and see how things sit. I'm picking up the car(s) next week hopefully, so will probably make sure everything is legal and I have had a word to the certifier before I start ripping her to bits and putting things where they were never meant to go:D

I got some more bits today...... brakes arrived.... Holden crewman calipers are huge! this should stop on a dime! hopefully the master cylinder will keep up! Master cylinder arrived today too...

Ok so I've been busy... over the last 2 days I picked up: Motor and gearbox.... diff(assuming this is what I will fit).... and 3 chevettes, (2 hatches and a sedan) along with a multitude of other chevette bits.. Next step is WOF and Reg on one of the hatches before I get the certifier to look her over and I start pulling bits off!

I turned up to work today and found a rather large box sitting in my office.... My group A kit has arrived! in a nice pale blue gelcoat.. eww... lol now I just have to get the body in shape!
