thre wont be room for remote shifter without lots of chopping a nd refabbing of tunnel. Got one in the red wag on my drive with a gemini selector in it if you'd like a look to see how it looks in position... Could sell you a gemini selector if you need...

I did have to cut a new hole for the selector but it was in a good spot and cleared the handbrake. I'm not a huge fan of where the Gemini selectors come up from, so I'd try and retain the remote system if you can.

I had the remote shifter cut down on the piazza gearbox, (cast alloy) and redrilled and fab'd the selector (quite possibly the biggest head ^*% ever) ... I've another remote shifter that will be way way easier to shorten, but it only fits that particular zz gemini box..

you would have to cut a hole if you used a normal style gemini selector anyway ... altho geminis are fun to drive cos you can pretend that you're drivn a truck with a 4 metre long gear lever lols is your engine sloping down towards the back of the car? i think it should be about level-ish so if it is then the gearbox should be about right? im a right? or wrong?

You want to have the driveshaft yoke coming out square, so once you have it about how you want, through the DS in and have a measure up to see how it all looks. Engine should be square too and the bottom of the sump should be relatively flat. I think these engines have a curved sump though from memory, which would make getting that last part right quite tricky.
