i purchasd a g161 that had aparently been rebuilt even though i only paid $200 for it, so i put it in the whole, wired and plumbed it up, set the timing and gave it a kick but didnt even get a cough or a splutter out of it, after stuffing around for the good part of half a day i decided to change the leads around (number 1 being at the back) sure enuf it started first pop, is this a regular thing nd will it do any damage or am i best 2 pull the chain off and put it around the right way?

Could the dizzy cap just be 180 degrees out, ie flipped around the wrong way? I've not had much experience with the G series sorry.
