Yup, it's first dyno run. Had an almost flat AFR of 15.5:1. Replaced the TPS (throttle position switch) as the 'power' map wasn't being switched. Went to 16:1 up to 4k5 rpm and 14.5 after that - picked up 9hp on last year. If I'd been able to get it to around 12.5-13:1, it should have been worth another 10-12hp on top of that. As is, it was around 87kW - 117hp at the wheels. Not too bad but could be a lot better. Some of the ones from Saturday are under 20.3.2010 from the same poster, still being uploaded. Feck, some of them were LOUD! Chad was getting a bit over 140hp at the wheels - 107kW, with his rangi mods.

May be thinking of the same place, Tim, the fast Frogs club had a dyno day in Glenfield a while back. Can't recall the name but I think it was a South African chap running it - down an alley to the right?
Craig, whichever one you use, stick to it as they do vary and it'd give misleading comparisons. Doesn't seem like we'll be having another for a while, I was also a bit annoyed they stopped mine at just over 6k - had another 800rpm to go! With mild cam's that will clear the piston, you'll be close to the results Chad had with his Vectra (see earlier post) - maybe a little bit more.

Better than Torque Performance anyway who are more V8 orientated. Gonna give him a try for my next tune.

No idea where aye... wasnt there when gem went down, also Craig are we having BBQ Meat and greet at Tony's? Nice weather is fast running out! Maybe we should have one at Troys shop? He's going to be producing adjustable panhard rod's, Chevette G-series X-members, TE-F-G front valances amongst other stock items by request. Also talking about some pretty sweet tubular bolt on suspension mods... (these will take time to perfect...) Anyhow another handy T-car head, he can be the Gem expert and Tony for Vettes!

Should be in there next week all going well. As for quality, what I've seen of his welding etc is damn tidy...
