My car is finally all put back together with a wof and everything. Pretty stoked but it still needs heaps of cleaning up. This got me thinking how everyone else was getting on. I know it’s a bit tedious always updating the projects thread every time you change a little thing on your car, so I thought perhaps a separate one where everyone can just say how their cars are doing, and when they might be ready. Defcons coupe. Is it going/black/wofd yet? Zeps coupe. Hows that mighty engine coming along? What about the diff/brakes etc? Burntrubber’s sedans. Much progress on the project and have you got your G2z running sweet yet? West’s wagon. Keen to know how this is coming along. Still in storage? Geminimad’s sedan and wagon. Did you manage to sell the wagon and are you still putting the G2w in the sedan? 77vettes sedan. Well its not worthy of a wof, what more can I say!  Wildplumdx’s sedan. Much progress with getting the re-regd? What about the wheel and lowering situ? Oncutties sedan? I don’t even know what you’ve got man. Get some pics sorted if you can! And you live fuken close to me aswell. Michaelme’s wagon. Well not really a regular so might not see this, but I see the wagons for sale again?  Hachiroku's coupe. Well. I've pretty much got my head together. The rocker gear is sitting on the studs, just needs to be bolted down. Will put the whole thing together when I put it in the car. I'm waiting on Jason to finish that diff/drive shaft off (no hurry buddy ) before I can do anything else. Also still waiting on my rims to arrive. Also.. haha, waiting on Wfc from OzGemini to finish his Crank Angle Sensor kit for G-Series engines - it's not gonna run without that!! Hachiroku has a coupe now too - sorry I haven't got the price on sending those extractors for you dude, I don't have any boxes to package them in. Hopefully I'll get something soon. |

well have i sold my slx with the jport in it as arollin body to some one in the mount now i can foucus on gettin my 1981 gemini slx finish just to sand it back and matt black {got to have matt black}the enigies al done 1600 head 1800 block new pistons, rings ,crow cam ,double row timeing chain, raceing oil pick up ,extracors, 2 and a half inch all the way with dumpy just need to sort out a elctronic ingition and a ida system for it and need 2 front seats as my rails and seats are Barry Whiteed i will post sum pitchers up once i get a hold of digi and i need a 5 speed gear box as my is leeking out were the drive shaft goes it mite be the seal have to have a look.if anyone has a ida system for sale ill be keen on it got to get it going for summer

My TE with the injected G200z goes hard as. Adjusted the AFM a few weeks back and its awsome still has a studder when you first take off but can't feel it even when I change gears once its moving. I got it up to 185kmph! again last weekend I reckon it will do 200kmph but I'm to scared  feels like a boat in a heavy swell and the brake pedal goes to the floor at 185kmph as well. As for the TG I'm saveing to buy a house so its on hold have massive plans for it though. I have purchased a G180z which I'm going to put G161z rods in and get some sort of higher performance pistons probably just get the crown of the stock ones ceramic coated. Then the head will be getting that ported and a turbo cam I hope to get about 140-150rwhp Zep your diff should be done soon just waiting on a few bits hope to get them back tomorrow hopefully. |

Got me some matt black ordered from work which should arive next week. Ummm got my planks of wood so now i can lower it more haha. Scored myself a rwd corona for a box of woodstock  so there's my gearbox. I just need rotas, housings, all seals and gaskets, a bellhousing, flywheel/clutch, a new diff(piazza), radiator(may have one tho) and probably a few other bits and bobs Oh yeah and i've made a trade/cash order for some new tinting film haha its only like $20 anyway |

got me plates and tags today from oncutties (have you done ur half of the change of ownership ?) so now i just gotta put the fuses in buy a battery bolt the seats in get a new drivers door window get some shorter shocks get minks mags and then get me a wof ! wanna try get it on the road in 3 weeks if all goes to plan !

Well yea just sitting in a shed atm, gunna do some work this weekend and start sorting out my drop tank and fixing up the rust in the boot floor. Still waiting for some cash to get my gearbox together, thats the only thing stopping me from getting the motor in there, once Ive done that its time to sort out fuel/oil/brake lines, clutch and brake master, wiring etc and try get it going.. Unfortunately will be a while I think,, wanted it done for summerdrags, but will have to wait till 2008 for that I think. Im faaaarking hanging out. Keen to show these wannabe rota boys how its done, gemmy styles ahhaha. cant wait to skid that nuts!!!! least by then I will have everything possible done, and hopefully should be an indestructable rota, god knows Ive gone waaaay too crazy with it. woked out he other day how much just my rolling body was worth, with no motor, gbox, fuel system, guages or any crap in it....$9500, so yea I rekun Ive spent at the very least 20k, and probably 30k bythe time Ive finished. oh well, Im def gunna get my fun outta this one!!! mmm rollcage.........

Heres some pics, you motivated me to actually take some (huge effort in my books ) Engine;  Gem;      Paint; its getting a matt black job for the summer, then it getting profesionally paint in a really glossy black, that'll be some time at the begining of next year I hope- really just depends on how much money i can save. Few updates. ZZr lsd and disk breaks (thanks leon) its all legal and on the road after 18 months of being garaged so im totally wrapped, i drive it when ever i can! Matt dawg |

Its actualy got a T50 with a 1Su in front of it Ohwell, still a good score for a box of woodstocks Does good skids so im gona enter skidfest with it next month hahaha. Yeah its quite cool to see the progress of everyones cars at once. Abit easier than waiting for everyone to update project threads. Those pics look mean defcon. Suits those wheels. It would almost be cool to see it back the colour that it was, just because its different to lotsa other stuff that you see out there.
Looks like there might be a few cars going for the summer tho, at some point atleast. Will be quite cool. My engines already pissing me off though, so it might not stay on the road as long as I initially thought.
