Basicly I am retarded for even thinking of it, but I had thoughts of gettin a Rodeo after seeing the yellow flat deck owned by oldnrusty on Oldschool. Then when he announced it was up for sale I have thought of not much else. You see I was thinkin of gettin one down the track as a seperate work vehicle to haul around a big water blaster. And as decent ones dont pop up often it is very very tempting to just get it... and I have kinda offered to buy gunmetal coupe and pay off over 4 months... I seriously think I have some kind of mental problem aye... And I will also add my wife altho not 100% behind me goin 'thata boy' isn't opposed to either of these purchases... on the condition the 2 fuctish wagons and the black chevini go... Pretty sure I could keep the black Chevini tho... maybe hide it somewhere... Anyhow thoughts are appreciated... I'm thinking maybe thoughts are gana be Tim... your fukn crazy! Now do you people understand my name? Crrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaazzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Tim!

Btw in the stables I already have 2 chevini hatches, both without engines, 1 Chevini wagon, without engine, paint and needing facelift to TX, 2 rusty wagons , (1 Rusty TF with blown rings and robbed plates/tags, 1 real rusty TE reg on hold no zorst) 1 Red Work wag (which is about to undergo major stuff) 1 green TG wag (which I'm about to get a mate to sort the final onroad stuff so I can take red one off road) So thats 5 wags and 2 hatches already... Chevini wag is to be longer term project, gana have to repaint most of what the last owner already did due to nutsty prep... if my DIY painting on red wag doesnt go well the Chevini wag will be gettin a pro job tho... just self prep as much as possible... With a TX Chevini Wag and a coupe could do without TX Hatch tho I guess... Sad seeing them sitting in shed the whole time anyway!

KB - what year is it? We used to have a few of the early Rodeos when I was with The Post Office/Telecom - got along quite well (Gov't ones had a unusual 1800cc engine) but the front drum brakes were absolutely lethal - back weren't much better!

Hoping $500 will get both of those vehicles ready for WOF...

Next after those 2 will be green chevini, G200 out of red work wag goes into builder, slam on twin webers and extractors for uber happiness... want to do this by years end, just gonna throw a bit of cash at them I think... been way too long... Tom is right should save for house, but that would be boring! (and responsible!)

if someones keen to buy my vette ill happily give the matt hatch a new home =D Problem with parting with this old girl for me is I bet I wont accept any offers I get, worth more to me than most other people I bet... Running with a G161 and the Cheviots etc I'd be wanting minimum $2500 and I bet no one would be keen to pay that... selling as is probably not an option, would break my heart to give it away... poured a lot of love into that old biarch lol. Need to decide which of the gem wagons to wreck 1st (if at all...) as I realy need a wag diff to bang into the Chevini... this is me thinking out loud kinda... mite put some build 'to do' notes in my project threads...

2500 is not a bad price for those in the know. its one of a kind and would be hard to make your own for that price. If you could ever find the guards. Ur lucky i sourced that gemini from tauranga. There cant be many nutsers left anymore to cut up honest tho. Save for a god damn house you have a million cars to keep you occupied. Can only drive one at once! ;D

Parting out one of your wagons would probably be a good idea, as much I hate to say it. You could probably get a thousand bucks or so out of the whole thing, including the ~$300 or so for the shell alone. Scrap price has come back a bit.
I'd say get a Rodeo if you want/need one but I'm kind of with your wife on this one. Cut it back a little, you'll end up like one of those crazy old men that we've all met who have dozens of cars all at various states of repair/disrepair and theres nothing wrong with that, but having a couple of well advanced projects that you can actually drive would surely be more fun.
If you can do it, getting to the point where you have the Chevini, a couple of wofed Gemini Wagons, the gunmetal Coupe and a Rodeo would be perfect aye?
You know what I'd be most worried about if I were you? The fact that you will probably have 9 T-cars and 5 Rodeos in a couple of years time.. haha
