ive got a gem towbar off my sedan you can have if you end up needing it. good luck towing anything with a chevette aye- im gona leave the towbar on mine as a bumper protector/weapon

I've towed a full cage trailer with my KTM motard in it...not a problem. Few sideways looks though  |

Haha - towed a Chevette shell on a trailer from Gisborne to Whangarei with another Chevette - got a LOT of looks, esp' as I was doing between 110 and 130 kph most of the way

The 2 chevettes I have seen have only had the tow bar bolted through the floor with 2 bolts, and another 1 either side where the bumper bolts on. Most dodgiest thing ever, I took it off straight away.
But this thread isn't about tow bars, Toms after a car. If you're after a Gem wag surely Tim would be the man to talk to. I think he owns all of them.

yeh. Not so keen on dreg'd crazytim projects. ;D I am simply after a car as mine was written off this week. Have hire car from insurance but have to give back on tuesday. Wouldnt mind a gemini but will consider anything realy. Looking at cheap a pug 205 on monday which i may buy and roll until i find something more suitable. If you have anything post it up. Must be wof'd ,reg'd, and mechanicaly sound. Quite keen on a small van or wagon. Looking quite closely at holden combos. Would rather a citroen berlingo but dont realy wana stretch my funds out to much. Good time for me to pay off fines and credit card etc ;D but could strech out to a nice newish berlingo if the right one pops up. Theres a nice 2007 one at a dealer on trademe for 12g. Woulkd buy it now if i had a couple thou more to spend. Not keen to go into debt tho  so will look at holden combos. Can get em for like 5g at turners, around the 2003ish age. Or older ones for like 2g on trademe. newer ones are similar price to berlingo. Could be keen on gemini wagon if one pops up in the next week tho  |
