2L Gemini on trademe

He says it needs no cert I have already looked into this seen as I have a 2L in My TE and you do. TE Gemini's produce 50kw stock the Rodeo G200z produces 65kw, 60kw is the 20% limit. My Piazza engine produces 75kw so I'm fecked I'm just gunna lie and hope they beleave me

Haha he probably means you need no cert as in the dumb wof guys don't relise its not a standard engine so he can get away with it.

Oi i was thinking about your engine performance. How have you done your fuel system? Because I thought the problem might lie there. As in its not quite getting enough to support the efi pressure and its starving or something along those lines. Or perhaps a blocked fuel filter or the pickup is blocked slightly..??

I'm thinking seriously about a surge tank because it dose'nt like my driving on metal roads not good a sudden loss of power on the exit of a corner. Other than that I think its ok the injectors are fecked I think noisy as not doing there job properly I dont think. I have some Falcon ones I've modded will chuck them in one day.

I thought you needed a 30% power increase for a cert

I thought it was 25% then the guy who is going to do all of my certs told me it was 20% power increase of the stock power output or displacement.

Yeah Jason, do you have an EFI fuel pump? That could be the problem!

Cackup like I would try to run it with a carby fuel pump ;D I have 4 EFI capable pumps I've tryed them all. I am useing the original piazza one at the moment because its the best seen as its made for the injectors that are in it. VL commy one was horrid to much pressure wouldnt idle smoothly. There's a lot of things that could make it go better but for the moment I have a company ute and I have better things to spend my time on

Meh got me all keen on fixing it now asked on ozgem see if anyone on there has any ideas for my symptoms if not it will just stay like it for now.
