Engine - g200z efi Issue- massive overfueling Symptoms- pissing black smoke, wont idle, very hard to start, wont accelerate smoothly, misses and runs on 3 cylinders alot, fouls the plugs in minutes.
no idea is too far out or silly, everything you would normally check has been checked but i will be rechecking it myself to make sure.
burntrubber ill get that ecu # now for you to make sure its the same as the others. its the last thing i can think of to check...
any ideas much appreciated.
*** box of piss as a reward to the one that gets it =D ***

on the ecu thers a blue sticker with a heap of (japanes?) on it with a few numbers i can read. and a silver sticker on the bottom left corner with -
894231 3324 AII-OOO 542 (or 11-000) 1602 ZNS (1602 is stamped)
hope you can make sence of that. i can put up pics if you want haha cheers

ecu or one of the sensors are stuffed and sending wrong information? or somethings happend to the fuel mapping?

Does it have a Lambda sensor in the exhaust? If so, it could be faulty or have a poor connection. Does it have a water/coolant temperature sensor? If it's playing up it could be pumping in the fuel to compensate for a very cold temperature.
I'd also go over all the earths, feeds and joins in case there is corroded, loose or disconnected terminals.

Air flow meter or throttle position sensor? Most things I can think of won't cause issues quite as bad as you are saying though, usually just erratic idle etc rather than running that bad. Would point towards mapping and easiest way is to just swap ecu for a test.
Have any mods been done to the engine? I was also thinking of poor injector earth or possibly even different injectors have been fitted?

Numbers match the other 2 ecus I have. Engine will run fine without an o2 sensor never had it hooked up in my TE and I had it going over 6mnths without a prob so that wont be the issue.
AFM not conected properly is my best bet one day whilst drinking one of my mates unpluged it for a joke did exactly what your saying. I think its either bung or not making a good connection maybe. I have all the testing data for the afm somewhere I will try and find it tonight.

If you are looking towards the Air Flow Meter, be sure to check the wires just as they go into the unit under the black cover. Because the engine moves and the AFM is more solidly mounted the wires can often break near the unit itself. We had an issue years back with a broken wire to an ignitor pack and would just cause the supra it was in to cut out randomly. Was so hard to resolve. Found it by accident one day.

yeap just had a lambda/o2 sensor fitted. i dont think the temp guages is hookd up.. i know it was faulty with the 161.. interesting lead to follow thanks. im going to have a play with the AFM now. it was tested and adjusted and aparently its fine but im not sure about the wiring or plug.. ill hook up the temp sensor aswell and see if it makes any diference. thanks for the relpies =D

got a bit excited when i found theyve broken the ecus' water temp gauge plug. i pushd it on fully and... no diference. i ran out of time to check if its geting signal to the ecu but its (unfortunatly) unlikley that thats the problem (although i will have to fix it). AFM wiring looks fine and has continuity through to the ecu. the car doesnt run if its disconnected or if you disconnect the pipe after it so it thinks "no air" gets to the engine. battery was also dead flat. its been sitting for 3 days and its an NS70 wich is rediculously big for a gemini so it shouldnt be.. must have left a door open..... i got the list of stuff they did. ill scan it up for you all to have a look at. so long story short all i achieved was a few mossie bites. oh and finding my 18mm spanner ive been looking for ha. i left the prices up there to make YOU all feel good. and for those of you playing at home- am i paranoid or did i get charged $75 and likley alot of manhours for a sensor i didnt need...

I got some info on what the afm should read its for the I-tec ecu though but might be the same.
Wire colour Engine/ignition Volts
Red-Ground on not running 10-14 Green-ground on not running 0.2-0.6 Green-ground on running 1.0-2.0
Hope that helps. Been a auto sparky you should have acsess to a scope you should scope the injectors.
edit:Ask them what the injectors flowed in cc
