In an attempt to drum up some movement on the 'yellow demon' I'm now going to offer a pay off solution to anyone who is interested. This will probably be a half now, pay off the rest over X months.

I'll throw in the entire spares collection with it for $14500...to be honest this is a fabulous package for someone. Spares includes straight panels for another body, four corners, doors, bonnet and glass and 4 plasitc boxes full of gemin/opel goodies.

decided im going to be pouring my money into getting the 2 chevini hatches, 1 chevini wag and 2 TG wags as immaculate as practical. Will still have the TF and TE wag waiting in the wings...
Would love your coupe but paying it off will divert all the necessary funds from my plan of mass insanity!
But I desperately want your guards... or I will have to get them moulded and made outta glass! (if so can I borrow some straight ones to mould? promise I wont steal /paint/bolt on my wagon! lol)

ok ok.....plans are changing again I'm now considering swapping everything from coupe to chevette except for some vital bits that you guys might like.
Things I'll be keeping:
seats / harnesses
motor + anscilleries, radiator, front assembly including brakes etc, computer, bell housing
wheels and tyres
What's left:
the coupe shell complete with roll cage (certified) 5 link setup with escort diff and quaife lsd ($1300 alone) and new discs and calipers / handbrake setup.
my chevette front end and suspension
5 speed sierra box
2 piece vr commodore drive shaft balanced and mated
13 inch alloys and tyres from chevette.
All you'd have to do is fit a motor of some sort put some lower suspension in and you've got one badboy coupe.
$4500

I like your persistance Tim. THe only reason I haven't sold them to you is because I wanted to sell them all as a package with the car.
I could probably sell all the spare parts and make the grand anyway. Bonnet is straight, guards are straight, have glass too. Have a spare fuel tank and sender, couple of sets of lights, gemini interior including dash board etc. you name it.. Sure you can't find a grand and take the lot?
