Fuk! I'm pretty sold on those. Is 5.5kg's light? Would make perfect race wheels, just what I wanted. Plus I've bolted 98pcd onto my car before. Pretty dodgy but slotting would be worth it.

They're cool aye. Im sure 5.5kg must be light if the guy put it in the auction...must be a hell of a lot lighter than steels. My turbos feel way lighter than my steels and they defenatly are not ultra lightweight. If you want me to requuest a fixed price offer or relist let me know cos i put it on my watchlist.

Thats what I was thinking aye. Its probably a better option to just stick to my engine budget and if I have anything left over at the end, then I will see if they are still around.
I guess 4x98 is Fiat and Lada stud pattern? Have you put some on your car before?

Yeah 4x98 is fiat. I havnt tried but i could try some off my mates two ladas. Will prob try and put my wheels on his car I think you can get some special studs which help. My mate put some 4x108 ford hotwires onto his 808(4x110) and only a little bit of fileing was needed. Had no problems in like 2 years so i think its safe. Im sure your wheels will be fine anyway. Spend money on engine!

You need to get these special lugs called wobble bolts or something. That's how my mate (with the Fiat Strada on OS) puts 4x100 rims on his car. They're self locating or something wack like that, someone told me once but I wasn't listening/didn't care/etc.
But yeah, stick to your engine man, otherwise you just end up buying random crap. I bought those extractors which I sold to 77vette for $80 and sold them to him for $50. I was supposed to use that money to buy a 50 bag (which was a waste of the initial money anyway) but ended up spending it all on booze that night. So I ended up spending $80 on $50 worth of booze and not even getting the smiz. That = why you should just save and spend your nuts once and right.
BTW: I WILL have that brake upgrade for sale soon if someone wants to buy it. It's the same one which Matt has on his coupe. Quite a decent upgrade for a Gem/Chev and I'll do a good price to you Barry Whiteers, I'm gonna need to get cash fast.

So I ended up spending $80 on $50 worth of booze and not even getting the smiz. haha awesome. Those brakes are another thing I want but probably don't need before I get the engine done. By that time my car will be coming along a little bit so I'll suss it out then. My piazza's do the tirck, but they tent to be pretty noisy and I'd rather have something abit better up front for when I get a sweet diff/disk rear end.

Desperately need that d**n bit. Cheers,Chris I take it you are meaning the bleed nipple that sits on the back of the wheel cylinder? If so I'm absolutely certain they are universal with almost all other brake bleed nipples. You will surely be able to buy/find one... if not I have some spare wheel cylinders I can rob one off but they are for a chevette. And yeap, got pizza brakes but I don't have a gemini diff.

I know the chevette front ones are alot larger, the gemini rear ones are absolutely tiny... think the gemini ones are like 6.5mm socket or something, but the car is about 30mins from here... So cant just try a front one on the rear..

Oh ok then. Well it all depends on the thread size though aye, if thats the same. Who cares about the actual size. My spanners only go down to 10mm and they were far to big for the Piazza bleed nipples when I bled the brakes. I think they were 8mm, but I don't have any of those spare anyway. Just pull the other side out that you have, go to a wreckers and find one from another car that will fit. Will take 30mins at the most.
