Just creating this thread as a sort of diary entry (henceforth its in off-topic as it probably wont help anyone). Also I'll be modifying this one post so I wont be accused of being a "Post Hore" hahaha. If you find this thread interesting, feel free to comment back; good, bad, helpful, insightful, suggestions, whatever

About a couple of months ago I obtained a 4ZE1 powerplant (always wanted one too) from my uncle in exchange for a box of piss. It was in moderate to relatively poor condition - "Been sittin there for quite a while man, you sure you want it?" "F*ck yeah man, I'll get her goin!" *drink*
Got home and immediately ripped it off the back of the Kingswood and started work on it. More interested in the core of the engine, I pulled off the warped cylinder head and stuck it aside (IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE I CAN GET IT FIXED FOR A GOOD PRICE OR IF ANYONE'S GOOD WITH A DIE GRINDER, PLEASE LET ME KNOW). The block was in great condition inside, however the pistons, rods and crank had seen better days.
I still haven't seen to the cylinder head yet, most of my spare time has been occupied with the block and its moving parts.
So far its looking pretty good, had a lot of rigorous cleaning and polishing inside and de-corroding (if that's even a word) on the outside since.
I also have a taller geared differential out of a 3 speed auto TG Gem sitting there on my garage floor. If anyone knows anything about converting it into an LSD, sing out
I'm also thinking of working the motor thats currently in it too, view pics here:-
