CUL8R, I know you can help me here. After reading that danm Clodtalk.com website for ages, I really want one of these. And the Clod Buster parts are just so readily avaliable check www.clodparts.com just for a small selection. If you check out the www.clodtalk.com members RCs section, you'll see what I wanna do!! What is the best way to start this? As you see in the other thread, my Clod Buster turned out to be some model that (According to the internet) dosen't exist with only RWD. But I do want a Clod, those tube chassis' look sexxxxuaaal! And I want to work on it myself :)_

Lol you're going to need a credit/debit card to pay for everything (online) To be honest I've never seen one in the flesh let alone built one, so Im not really of much use to you. rc4uproducts.googlepages.com/This guy is the sponsor of our Rc Stockcar club - we get things at near cost price. I'd go through him for all your accessories - ie springs shocks motors esc's.... Possibly even wheels... Cheers,Chris

I've decided what I'm going to do is buy a stock Clod Buster and start from that. That way I'll learn about it better and it should be pretty fun.
I've found two shops who (according to their online shops) say they have them in stock for around $400. Will be fun enough to play with it as is anyway.

the $400 is brand new with the gear I think. The problem is they are discontinued.

I've had a think about this and need to really not buy an RC car. I'm trying to save moneys and this is not a good idea! Sucks but maybe some other time!

built an rc stadium truck for my lil bro back in school, was quite sarisfying but couldn't justify the price of one of these nowadays, saving for a house new mx bike cuts all disposable income down

Oh lol, I also get in parts now, but unless its a big order (as in a couple hundreds worth) the shipping is around 1/3 of the cost of the parts, which is a bit gay, the dollar however is coming back slowly so thats helping..
