Anyone know if a piazza radiator will fit in a to a gem, need a cheap replacement.

Burntrubber is the man to talk to I assume. He does have both after all. Not sure why he hasn't replied yet.
I'll do my best, I did have 2 Piazzas and the radiators aren't great. Wide and thin at the same time... Too big for the front of a chevette for sure, and probably too big for a gem. Plus they have different mounts. "New" top and bottom rubber mounts I think (it was about 3 years ago that I pulled these things apart) so the fabrication to get it in will be quite abit.

Ended up getting my radiator recored. There a good cheap upgrade too for those of you going turbo or the likes, for 120 bucks extra you can geta high efficency torrana core.I ended up choose this option as i figure the g200 wont stay stanard for long. Total cost ended up being 400 on the mark. I think zep had some thing similar done, perhaps the same thing.

Did you end up getting that turbo and manifold? I never had any probs with temp with my turbo setup infact when I put the modified manifold and carb on I never put the thermostat in. Was a real prick in the morning and never actually got hot enough. When I put the thermostat in it warmed up quicked and ran a whole lot better once it was up to running temp. I took it on a few metal road thrash's ect and it never got above normal just lucky I guess.

Nah i missed out on it, some guy had an auto bid higher then mine. Still on the look out for a cheap manifold/ turbo combo on trademe though. I figured i'd be prudent to go the torana core, after seeing zeps cooling problems first hand.

Get me to to make you one Nah still got Zeps stuff to finish  then there's that cluch in the Mrs car and those 12 hour days 5 1/2 days a week bah poor me Yes he did have cooling isues did'nt he did he sort it in the end? I mean did the radiator upgrade fix it. |
