Went back to the engine builder to find that the G200's crank had previously spun a bearing, so now they need to see if they can grind and get it all good again.

The pistons were poorley mated to the rods (floating but with out a brass bush) so two have seized and now I need a full set of rods and 2 pistons. f**k f**k f**k f**k f**k f**k f**k.

I'm fully thinking of flagging it and just getting that 4ZE1 off trademe.

So yeah, back to hamilton to get those rods (I hope he didn't throw them out)! And if the pistons decided to actually be SR20 ones, actually, it dosen't matter anymore, I have to get rods modded to suit pistons anyway, so I may aswell put some forgies of the right bore size in there. daammmnn

You are having some real trouble with this engine aren't you didn't you buy it setup for turbo ect? I reckon get that 4ZE1 that would be awsome do to that what you want to do to the G161.

I pissed around with my engine for a bit last night heaps of little niggley misses ect that were getting to me. Running awsome now main problem was the fuel filter I bought it new butt out of chance I put the old Piazza one one and it fixed a bad surging problem it had cant see why an old filter is better than a new one! Took it out into the country for some gravel action. I've always liked my Gemini's on the gravel I grew up on a gravel road with paddock hacks mainly Escorts. The engines extra torque and power in the Gemini makes it awsome to drive on loose dunno what its gunna be like turboed probably crash

^ yeah turbo and gravel is heaps of fun!!! so cool when it spools up and just starts wheelspining. Had heaps of fun doing like 100k+ powerslides in my gts-t up at mangawhai.

Cool, sounds like a pretty cruisy weekend. Music wasn't quite my style but I was still a little keen just because of the atmosphere out there.

Ended up working both days instead :S

Can chill and work to the chillies but if its partying time it's more like Rage, Korn, Nirvana, Metalica, and so on I been getting into Breaking Benjamin lately. Really rate older Chillies songs like under the bridge and aeroplane. I heard the new gunners song the other day to was ok ish.

The music I like alot of people seem to hate aswell. But I don't mind early 90's and proper oldschool rock. Metallica is one of my arch enemies! I hate them all.

I like abit of everything aye been listening to quite abit of folk/viking metal at the moment. Also like nuts like the Mars Volta and im really into the Stooges, Soundgarden, Rage... dont like much new 'mainstream' music at the moment- Except i quite like blockparty. Only radio i really listen to at the moment is Up fm. They play mostly drum n bass and other electronic nuts. Get board with other stations stupid playlists!!! i wanna kill the rock and bfm has turned to nuts i think

Yeah bloc party are cool, but i'm a bit disappointed with the new album. Silent Alarm was much better.
