Ha yeah when it first fired I almost jumped was so excited I got the engine in and first turned the key at 2pm first fired at about 5:30-6:00 was a mish to sort. I reckon it will go quite hard 2L injected in a car that weighs 950kgs.

It was hard I dont know anything when it comes to injection wiring ect. I had to learn and I got it I'm stoked. I am going to try and hold off on the turbo thing want to keep the economy it will be hard I even felt the erge to do it today ;D
I was intending on useing the piazza cables and pedal ect I was wrong can't use the clutch cable or the pedal. The throttle however I made work. I also modifyed the auto crossmember to work on the manual which I happy with I was gunna have to rob it from the TG otherwise.

Can you not just use the gemini clutch cable? It seemed to work fine on my twincam.

Dont know yet it may work have to put the pedel in first. The piazza pedal box was alot further away from the firewall than the Gemini one thats all. Might work not doing anything on it today I'm sick as damn winter and crap

Yeah i know, the pedals and where the cable bolts up is all different, but the ends where they go onto the gearbox are the same aren't they? So you can just stay with your gemini one without changing anything?

If I use the Gemini pedal the Piazza cable might fit I dunno I just looked at useing the Piazza pedal which would'nt work and the cable looked far to long. But once I put the Gemini pedal in I will be able to see if the cable is to long or not.

Yeah cable ends are identical well pretty sure they are. Just the Piazza one pokes through the fiew wall more than a Gemini one by the looks could be wrong. I want to use as much as I can without having to buy or rob anything off the TG. I've allready robed the pedal and gear lever.

Oh! I finally see your logic. I forgot you were working with an auto and I just couldn't see why you were trying to use Piazza everything. Jeeze.. go down the wreckers and buy a $10 clutch cable from a gemini and use the standard pedal box! haha

Ha fat chance I last rang the wreakers around whangarei must be only three weeks ago and still nudda. There has only ever been one Gemini being wreaked by a local wreaker in the 8 years I've owned my Gemini. I seen it outside while on a job so I stopped in they are a holden and ford wreaker and they said its the first one they had seen in over 5 years! I will just buy a new cable if I have to just dont want to. I start it up and rev it about once an hour injection just idles so smooth sounds so nice cant wait to have it driveable I added a pic Ofcourse there's a few things to tidy up like AFM just dangling over the exhaust

I took it for a spin this morning not to happy with it very sluggish about as much power as the stock carbi engine Gunna go get a compresion tester and a fuel pressure gauge and test those two things first. The plugs look like they are quite old need to check the resistance of the leads as well. I hope I can sort it quite disaponted really. It has awsome tourqe though cruised up the hill down the road from my place in 5th! its a fairly steap hill at 55-60kmh

Oh thats no good to hear man. I would expect it to be a rocket ship. Doesn't make sense tho, I'm sure you will find something thats not quite right and that should open up the power. I have heard stories about conversions where a wire onthe computer is hooked up wrong and it puts the engine into limp mode or what ever. Not sure whether its something to do with that, but just an idea.
