Yeah they are length, tube dia,and gearbox spline are all different I think maybe not the length. I did compare them side by side last year when I was trying to find a really bad rear end vibration. Thought I would chuck the drive saft out of the TG in didnt even try once I seen them side by side.

IT would make sense there there the same, seing as the box is the same length and its the same diff. Only the spines out the yoke are different to my knowledge.

hehe pretty sure Every one on ozgem is always using auto drive shafts for their 5 speeds, so lets just call it an educated guess

Heres a more informed reply, to make up for the slack questimates so what u need is: gearbox obviously tailshaft clutch flywheel clutch cable pedal assembly shifter manual plastic cover thingo that goes around the shifter and yeah flywheel ..and bolts the bolt from the auto flex plate will not work...not that I can remeber but they are different lengths and a spigot bearing and thrust bearing and new oil and some plate to cover the old hole.. oh and last but not least the rubber grommet thing that sits in the hole of the body The cost of the conversion really depends on how you want to do it. You could buy the rusted 5 speed bomb (or even 4 speed for cheaper if you dont do much 100kph driving) for say $200. Then the fun starts: You jack the donor car up and pull the gearbox and flywheel off. Then you push the donor out of you garage, keep it aside for the moment. Then you jack your car up, pull the auto off, bolt the flywheel on, bolt the clutch on, throw the gearbox on (thats the fun part, jeez i love doin that) Swap the LHS pedal rack, tail shaft and a few other bits from the donor car over and your pretty much done It says "and tail shaft" in the last quote, so ill eat my words
