Complete runner but no WoF at the mo' as can't be stuffed cleaning out the crap in it - may need rust repairs but OK last time. Light knock in engine last 4 years of use as work hack but not getting any worse.
$200 ONO without newish (4k km?) gas shocks, $325 with the shocks - was going to give them to a friend also with a chevette.

what year is it mate. me and my mechanic are fixing up 2 hatches. he plans 2 keep his chevette matt black wit a 2.3 bedford and mine is a slime green chevini whch iz a chevette hatch with an 83 tf front hasa 1.6 gem engine twin webers pretty sweet but alota wrk and more importantly 2 u we need alota parts!! wher abouts u @

A PM may be best way to get hold of me, next time  It's an '80 model - slanting headlights - and is pretty rough but I'd been using it as my to/from work hack for last four years or so. Has a knock but always started without a hassle. If you're interested, I'll throw in the spoiler and manifold as well. 2.3 Beddie - Aargh! Seemed like I spent half my 'prenticeship working on those engines.  Was registered when put away but probably expired now. |

hey gordo! realy want ur car but no cash, wud it be acceptable 2 pay u off? getn hitched in march so mrs wnt allow me 2 spend the money but i cud pay $20 a wk without her knowing... just a trust issue with u not knowing me... let me know what u think! if thumbs up i will pick up nxt wk... gotta say tho wudnt do anything to damage my reputation in the gmt club... loving this website!!

Reputation?  Well, it's costing me money at the mo', anyway. I don't really have a problem with drip feed - I'll take out the gas shocks and put some stock wheels on it - legal tread too, IIRC. Checked the rego, expires 12/3/2007, and I'll see about suspending it tomorrow - if I have time. Before you make a definite call, though, I'd suggest viewing the car to make sure it'll meet your requirements. It's in storage in West Auckland at the mo', so if you want to view, let me know what w/end would suit. Forgot, it's an '81 model. |
