Hey guys, so I can't afford to do the 4 link rear setup yet so I'm simply going to weld on standard diff coil plates onto my piazza one and install that. OR I might run the standard till it blows Either way....if someome has some rear turrets for me to buy and or measurements to make them please let me know otherwise I'll run with standard setup. So if I was going to upgrade my standard suspension for track work what would you use? I'm going to be using my 13x7 wheels and cutting out wheel wells for use with HS flared guards to start with....unless HSR turn up cheap first. I have a supply of piazza front sway bars should I need it. I need shocks and springs obviously. Mikuni i know you got some whitelin stuff and nolathane bushes for yours? Where did you get it from and how much?

TJ Motorsport can also do you a full set of replacement bushes - I'd get some m'self if I wasn't trying to save some money for a steel bottom end (for the XE, I hasten to add) and the original ones seeming to be in pretty good nick.
Manufacturer: Superflex Vauxhall Chevette Superflex Polyurethane Suspension Bush Kit
Superflex polyurethane suspension complete bush kit consisting of:
* Qty 2 21mm front anti roll bar to chassis bush. * Qty 8 front anti roll bar link bush. * Qty 2 front lower wishbone inner bush c/w stainless steel inner/outer. * Qty 2 front upper wishbone front bush and stainless tube. * Qty 2 rear panhard rod hour glass section bush. * Qty 1 tube, stainless steel for above. * Qty 2 rear axle upper link rear cotton reel bush c/w stainless tube. * Qty 2 rear axle upper link rear cotton reel bush c/w stainless tube. * Qty 2 12mm rear anti roll bar to body bush.
ALL BUSHES AVAILABLE INDIVIDUALLY.
DELIVERY TIME: Normally 24-48 hours. List Price: £317.00 Price: £260.00 Not sure if I'd bother with playing around with front bars - easy enough to lift the inner front anyway and when it's off the ground a stiffer 'bar won't have any affect. A stiffer rear 'may' be of benefit, though, depending on the rest of the package.

There must be something local? Wonder what postage is on that from the UK?

There must be something local? Wonder what postage is on that from the UK? Postage for a box or bag of bushes shouldn't be too bad, I was looking at about $80 to ship front and rear shocks via super-slow boat mail. In the end I stumped up for airmail (took 3 days door to door!) and that was about $150 for a 30kg package. Airmail is weight-based, so the bushes would be well under that. Having said that, I've contacted Tim about posting to NZ before, he's not that keen, so if you have problems let me know and I can get the bushes posted from a residential UK address for you.

I will talk to the guy with the Gemini down south tommorow if he's there, about chopping some rear turrets out.
Cheers,Chris

There must be something local? Wonder what postage is on that from the UK? Ofcourse there is. Nothanthane do them for the gemini at a fraction of the cost of those landed. My god thats expensive. I also got a whiteline front sway bar from a gemini. Its a decent upgrade and will help turn in but as gordo says, once the wheels up it doesn't do much. The main reason for this is the gemini one accomodates engine better because it has a dip. Also get universal nolathane sway bar mounting brackets. I just went to Autolign but any decent suspension shop will be able to help you. Rememeber to use your knowledge of what is the same between models (gemini, piazza, chevette) when ordering anything because I can tell you, aftermarket support for geminis is HUGE and aftermarket support for chevettes (in nz) is non-existant.

Do you remember the product codes you ordered or do I simply ask for a gemini kit?
