ANybody know what sort of oil pressure they should be running? mine seems to be running fargin heaps aye. Like always real close to the max on the guage. Never had a car like that. Usually its like below half evenb when thrashing it, like on skylines and in GTPs, typhoons, rx8s and mx5s etc. Looks like its overfill of oil by quite abit so will drain some out today
Also are the clutches all interchangeable between the sohc g series engines? my piazza ones a bit worn but i have a pretty good one off my gemini engine

dunno about the oil mine runs like 2 bar at idle. G161z and G200z have a different flywheel so the clutches are different but you could just change the whole lot.

Could also be a faulty guage.

yeh i knw the guage night be faulty thats why i wanted to know what they usually run. suks bout flywheel. Ive found a mean as place to get clutches tho. we were doin my mates gtst one this afternoon cos he blew it up doin burouts outside sams house ;D was 180 for a heavyduty clutch kit including the clutch plate, pressure plat and release bearing. Repco wanted 800 for a standard clutch crazy. Not sure if i can be arsed doin the clutch untill it really Barry Whites out tho

If you have a standard ish gemi i would just get the pressure plate rebuilt to be a bit heavier, as gemi boxs aren't friendly on syncros you stll want the clutch plate to be the weakest point in the drive line, otherwise fast shifting you are going to put more load load on the drive line and blow a lot of syncros, You could possibly take them right out if it were for racing as the actual gears are good its just the syncros that end up in a puddle in the bottom of the gearbox
