Been doing a bit of reasearch over the last few days. I'm going to be buying new shocks, and I want some good adjustable ones, not some crap from Pedders or other places. I've made a little list here of a small amount of info and the part numbers associated with them.
Remember, most of these will have to be ordered from off shore, and they do not come cheap, between £50 and £70 each + shipping.
Koni
Now you all know about Koni. Oil filled shocks, the original adjustables that everyone knows about. The yellows are the best ones but from what I have heard, they are only adjustable off the car, and they only have about 8 points of adjustment. Still they are supposed to be good. These are both Koni Yellows. Rebuildable.
Part Numbers:
Front: 82-1886Sport
Rear: 82-1740Sport

Spax
Spax are a UK brand, perhaps more common that the next two. They are filled with 'krypton gas' and are adjustable on car. They have a 28 point adjustment system and say that they are very good when use in a car which has been lowered.
Part Numers:
Front: G45EA or G165
Rear: G46EA or G582

AVO
Another UK brand. I have heard good things about AVO suspension. A lot of the auto-x and rally boys use them in their Opel Kadett Cs. From what I can remember, they have a 30 point on car adjustment system.
Part Numbers:
Front: TE336
Rear: TD370

GAZ
GAZ is another UK company, smaller than the others, but just as good. In fact, I have been told they are the best by a few Brits. They are made out of billet aluminium and are also fully rebuildable. They also have a 30 point on car adjustment system.
Part Numbers:
Front: GT5-2182
Rear: GT7-2183

Right, that's all I looked at. I will be purchasing either the GAZ or AVOs for my setup and will let you know how they turn out.
If you are to purchase any of these, I would advise to double-check the part numbers before you do, just to make sure they haven't changed!!
