It fell out today Noticed this slight whine when idleing about two weeks ago been a heap of crap I just went eh stuff it. Sounded like it was comming from the auto so I was a little concered. Was quite funny really and shame I picked my daughter up from school and it was in the car park turned the key made a hell of a grind then a bang as the starter flew out. Had to wind my window down hold the starter in and turn the key whilst holding the starter was so shame all these other parents mainly mum's too. Damn auto could have just roll started it was parked on a slight hill damn it.

Just be happy you don't have a twincam with the starter on the other side You'd have to get your little girl to hold the starter in for you.. haha

Ohh thats crack up, seen that sorta thing before tho, some bogan women having the hugest fit at here falcon, screaming at it, kicking the nuts out of it! Asked her if she needed a hand, "nah im just letting it all out, when im ready i give the starter a quick smack and she'll start" so i walked on and she went right back in to the kicking and screaming

Only just put it back in now what a mish bolt on top of the starter was a quite a squeeze on the hands bet it would have been easier with your new tools Defcon.
