I just snapped an axle and need a new one. I think my diff came out of a gemini wagon. Probably a Aussie borg warner type rather than the japanese one. Or a complete diff. Auckland area would be easier for pickup. But i'm in the south island next week.

Have some axles of unknown origin... could possibly be piazza or gemini. Do you have busted one to compare?

Thanks Tim, I still keep that in mind. The Piazza ones usually are longer and have disc brakes. Pick-a-part Takanini has just got in a 85 Gemini and i got the whole diff from that. There are some aftermarket springs and new shocks there as well. Be quick

I think trim was blue.. but i could be wrong, didn't really look as it didn't interest me. I'll keep that diff in mind. I'm selling the car and new owners might be interested. Axles snap, diff spiders shatter, all part of the fun of racing with a locked diff.
