Hey all. I have just finishd restoringy 3rd 78 isuzu gemini. Now the vtnz r telling me its gunna cost me 910 buks to revin it. Im hoping somone here will beable to help me with this.

sure if that is possible I will. but would I have to change all the lights and stuff to make it look like a vauxall chevette or not.

Thats rubbish.
What happened to the original plates & vin/build id?
I've personally revinned a car that'd been off the road for 10 years, and it cost me just under $500. So long as they have something to go off to prove that it's been registered before in NZ.
