Finaly got around to stripping front end of my chevette again as there where a few things needing attention, I have taken the crossmember out also and am going to fit some new low springs to match the rear but would also like to upgrade my swaybar to increase the handling a bit more (even tho its verry good as it is). so was just wondering if any of you guys have or know of someone that has a piaza swaybar as i hear they are a fair bit thicker than the std chevette one ? any advice would be appreciated cheers.

Piazza (torque tube type) rear bar is, IIRC, 1/2" wider both sides, but that isn't a huge issue as you can bend the links to suit. However, I'm not sure if the shape of the bar is correct to fit a Shovit floorpan's mounting and clear everything. I have a bar but never got around to trying it on a car.

Use gemini stuff, its larger diameter from memory and fits without modifications.
Plus has a recess in it for later on down the track for sump clearances

TBH, I'd leave the front and do something about the rear first - as the inner front is already easy to pick up, increasing stiffness will do SFA but increasing rear roll resistance will reduce body roll and the camber gain (roll under) of the front outer tyre. However, best thing would be to try it as is, with the rebuilt front end, and see how that works out.
