So went for a sweet drive to Bethells to take the dogs for a good run, went like a dream there and back.
Got home had some lunch then went to leave again, put the clutch pedal down to put the car in reverse and "snap!" clutch pedal hits the floor. The clutch cable snapped just after the knuckle on the clutch pedal and has frayed a bit.
Does anyone have a spare clutch cable to suit a Gemini/Piazza 5 speed? and if so, how much do you want for it? Or any ideas on how to reattach the cable without driving around with the clutch partially engaged?

Had the same thing happen to me but at the light of an off ramp, all I did was go pick apart look at a 4wd hand break cable (they got the same end bit) go to mitre 10 and get 2 fencing d cramps, put together. Took me a while to get the length right. Mine snapped from under the peddle so I reversed it and the the doctored end on the gbox side.
Hope this helps

damn, wish I had read this earlier! on the same day you wrote back re the 4wd hand brake cable I took the old cable to Hi-Tech Brake and Clutch, who replaced it for $100. Goes mint now though, and should last another 30+ years!
