Hi all.
I'm a fitter turner.
I have a strengthened drive shaft here which requires welding together. Would anyone be keen to purchase this shaft if I was to complete it? I'm taking a different route now and don't think I'll use it so keen to sell.
Assembly will be tig welded.

Hey mate. I'll copy paste what I said on oldschool:
$150 sound fair? I had to buy the diff this shaft came from- and the rest is labour.
I have just copied what the Aussies do with theirs. Should be unbreakable and it definately won't twist up and banana like the stock ones do ( causing vibrations)
According to the strayans they don't need balancing afterward and most ones I've seen are pretty backyard spec- mine will be all nicely spiggoted together and checked for straightness afterward in lathe with dial indicator so should be good. SOME versions have trouble with clearance inside of the alloy tq tubes - they change to the steel model in this situation- I THINK mine should fit the alloy tubes fine.
Any issues during install/ first drive I'm happy to refund your money
