Just wondering if chevette a came out with a return fuel line?? As mine don't have one... And what would be the best just block off the return line on the carb?? As I'm running an electric pump and reg would this cause the carb to overflow?
As in got a fuel reg with two outs one goes to the carb and one goes back to the pump to be pumped again
Any ideas to simplify this out? Mayb putting about he reg up under the bonnet?

No none of mine had return lines.
Depends on the fuel pressure of the fuel pump?
Im running a Holley reg for my IDF's under the bonnet, with a facet pump in the boot by the tank

Ok so I'm running a holleyt red pump and reg so I'm just worried about if the pump can handle not having a return lol. Kind of an ammeter question. I've also got a 7 psi mallory pump too. what would be suitable high or low pressure pump, I could go all put a vl commy pump in but most likely would like a return line I'm also running the 12a standard carb

You're running too high-a volume pump. From memory you should have a holley blue is the low pressure for carb systems.

I have the Square looking low pressure facet pump from Repco in mine. Also found in subaru leone's - nice low pressure and cheap

Don't run a vl pump. Thats for efi. You want a low pressure pump

Just ended up running it the way it came with a return from the red back into the inlet pipe of the pimp sounds fked up bit it's not flooding the carb and is running at most 2psi, might be the best way without having a return line
Ill try uploading a pic tomorrow

If you're talking about a stock Chevette 1256, they just had a plastic 6mm, or so, fuel line from the tank to the pump, a metal pipe from the pump to the carb with no return line. Short sections of rubber hose to connect the various sections. However, after all this time, who can say what the previous owners have done to them. return fuel lines are normally only found on fuel injection systems, as carbies have internal breathers to allow any air in the lines to vent. Normal Chevette fuel pressure, IIRC, is less than 1.5 PSI.
