i am after a good radiator and hoses for my 1980 chevette h/b project just rebuilt the engine but dont want to risk it as my radiator is getting rotten and hoses are boulging any help would be appreciated thankyou

Have you priced a new core yet? Depending on how much they are nowadays, you may be able to get it done for a couple of hundred. Failing that, I may have a good spare somewhere, I'd have to check and may be a few days - but, with freight costs, may be best looking locally. I assume you've also tried GM for the hoses?
A quick search pulled up these other options - remember, the US Cheverolet Chevette is quite different from the Vauxhall one.

I wonder if you can get a Alloy one for Chevette's from overseas, there was bugger all difference between the Alloy Triple core I got for the gemini and getting the original rotten core re-cored

Found top hose a whole $19.50 at good old super cheap auto same part number repco were listing but did not have in nz, I will just match up bottom hose with something else, thst just leaves radiator, if you could have a hunt around that would be great.post shouldent be to much they are not big just weigh a bit
