Anyone know what power gains to expect? Is it as simple as swapping over?

AFAIK, it's basically a straight swap - come on guys, give the bloke some help. Power shouldn't increase much as that's due to many other factors, however the higher compression will have a greater affect on lower rpm torque and should also give an increase in fuel mileage.

It bolts straight on couple of water jacket holes dont line but no one worries bout that. Never done gem engine but I have done other engines like this including escort and even a ford laser which I got a significant increase in grunt putting a 1300 head on a 1500.

Yeah I agree. More compression = more hp. Do you know if it'll cause problems with the efi ? Pressure problems or anything? Cheers

Why do you hate it? Seems pretty straight forward to me.
