which old school car magazines do you all read?

i personally like retro cars, i usto get it ages ago (a year or so) from a local magazine shop in nelson, now it has shut down and i cant find it anywhere, not even when iv gone to wellington and palmy, and online they want $233 for 12 issues...

iv tried classic car, practical classics, dont like them.. theyre more of a old restoration magazines and for old grey hair'd dudes in there MG sports cars

dear i say it i got a classic ford magazine the other day, and loved it.. apart from it being full of fords haha..

any other magazines you recommend reading? or how i can get my hands on retro cars cheaper?

Retro Cars was around $17 an issue anyway, so you only save like $30 over an entire year. Otherwise, not sure really... I wonder if they sell Practical Performance Car in NZ.

The only one I've a subscription for at the mag' shop is Racecar Engineering - and that doesn't have much 'old school' stuff except stories on historic race cars

I've also picked up the occasional Fast Ford and similar mag's in the past if there's an article I find interesting. Some very sweet rides in them, I must say - but then I also like the old Fords - heck almost anything RWD does it for me!

Is the Retro Cars you get there the same as the one we get here ?

yup exact same, which is why its hard to find and expensive cause it comes from the uk

Next time I'm at our local friendly Post Office I'll see how much it is to post a mag down there .






Edit - Just worked out the exchange rate and if I buy a copy here it works out at about 8.50 nzd
