wondering if anyone knows if they will suit my chevette properly . theyre 13x7 with + 22 offset so would the tread still be within the guard?

A dude one here had them made for his gem. He left the forum and removed all the pics unfortunaterly...
If you can be Barry Whiteed read his build thread, may have exact description of any down falls with the rims fitting properly on a T car...

They will fit no problem, they've been widened, not put into centerless rims. I have 13x8s on the Back , and they're close but still dont rub, I had 7's all round on my gemini wagon, and 7's on the front of the chevette without any problems

The answer is yes, easily. I have some 15x7 +26 wheels and they EASILY clear, even with 10mm spacers at the front.
